📋 Description

• Assess, evaluate, and prioritize potential acquisitions, investments, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships within the uranium sector.

• Oversee the technical and commercial evaluation of mining projects, which includes aspects such as geology, resource potential, exploration opportunities, development stages, infrastructure, permitting considerations, capital requirements, and strategic alignment.

• Analyze technical reports, resource estimates, geological data, and exploration outcomes to form an independent assessment of asset quality, risks, and potential upsides.

• Spearhead and coordinate technical, commercial, financial, and legal due diligence for prospective transactions.

• Create valuation analyses, transaction frameworks, and clear recommendations to aid in investment and capital allocation decisions.

• Assess opportunities within DISA Uranium’s wider portfolio, taking into account geography, processing infrastructure, development timelines, and long-term resource strategies, while maintaining a prioritized opportunity pipeline.

• Cultivate relationships with uranium companies, asset proprietors, and other industry stakeholders, supporting the negotiation and execution of acquisitions, investments, joint ventures, and commercial agreements.

• Prepare concise, decision-focused materials for senior management and the Board, collaborating cross-functionally with geology, engineering, permitting, operations, finance, and legal teams to progress priority opportunities.

• Report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer and collaborate closely with technical, operating, finance, and executive teams.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, Mining Engineering, or another related technical field is strongly preferred, particularly for candidates with a geology background.

• Approximately 7–12+ years of pertinent professional experience, featuring substantial involvement in the mining industry.

• Proven commercial experience in corporate development, business development, investment banking, private equity, mining investment, strategy, or transaction execution.

• Robust understanding of mineral exploration, resource evaluation, and the mining project development lifecycle, with the capability to critically assess technical reports, resource estimates, and geological data.

• Experience in evaluating acquisitions, investments, joint ventures, or other strategic transactions.

• Financial modeling and valuation experience is preferred.

• Experience in the uranium industry is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Strong analytical judgment and the capacity to form and communicate an independent perspective amid uncertainty.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate technical information into clear commercial recommendations.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting and managing multiple opportunities simultaneously.

• Willingness to travel to project sites and engage with counterparties as necessary.
