
Director of AI Platforms β Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
β’ Take charge of the administration and daily management of Aimpoint Digital's enterprise AI platforms, which include ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude Enterprise, and future AI platform investments.
β’ Create and uphold governance standards for user provisioning, permissions, workspace setup, model access, data controls, and security policies.
β’ Track platform usage, licensing, adoption, and expenditures while optimizing costs and enhancing business value.
β’ Collaborate with IT, Security, Legal, and AI leadership to set up scalable operational procedures for enterprise AI utilization.
β’ Develop and refine a perspective on essential AI usage topics, including security, cost management, and governance.
β’ Act as the technical lead for client AI platform deployments, encompassing environment configuration, governance workshops, enablement, and administrator training.
β’ Create reusable implementation playbooks, reference architectures, deployment checklists, and operational documentation.
β’ Assist delivery teams during enterprise AI implementations by offering platform expertise and operational support.
β’ Assess new enterprise AI platform capabilities, administrative features, APIs, integrations, and roadmap enhancements.
β’ Design internal enablement programs that empower consultants to effectively and responsibly utilize enterprise AI platforms.
β’ Establish reporting and operational metrics related to adoption, usage, governance, security, platform health, and ROI.
β’ Over 5 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, SaaS administration, AI platform operations, enterprise architecture, consulting, or similar technical leadership positions.
β’ Proven experience in managing enterprise SaaS platforms, identity and access management, governance, licensing, and operational processes.
β’ Familiarity with ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude Enterprise / Cowork / Code / Design, or similar enterprise AI platforms.
β’ Understanding of cost management factors related to GenAI tools and platforms.
β’ Knowledge of enterprise AI governance, security, compliance, model management, and responsible AI practices, with the ability to align GenAI tools to an organization's security framework.
β’ Experience in supporting enterprise software implementations and client-facing enablement activities.
β’ Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
β’ Exceptional communication skills, with the capacity to translate technical platform concepts into actionable business guidance.
β’ Experience with APIs, integrations, automation, or scripting is preferred.
