Director, Nurse Informatics – Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Oversee corporate strategy to transform clinical user requirements into effective IT solutions.

• Connect clinical practices with technology to ensure systems are in harmony with clinical workflows.

• Improve direct patient care and enhance population health outcomes within DaVita’s healthcare ecosystem.

• Provide leadership, strategic mentorship, and operational guidance to Nurse Informaticists.

• Propel clinical process innovation and ongoing improvement initiatives.

• Lead clinical change management strategies across the enterprise.

• Act as the appointed clinical subject matter expert and strategic advisor for the CMIO.

• Represent the CMIO in executive forums, cross-functional committees, and working groups.

• Convert clinical goals into scalable IT solutions.

• Gather detailed functional and workflow requirements from stakeholders.

• Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to uncover operational issues and design evidence-based IT solutions.

• Provide clinical governance and hands-on expertise for urgent, impactful technology projects.

• Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to standardize care delivery, documentation workflows, care efficiency, clinical quality, cost optimization, and patient/caregiver satisfaction.

• Undertake additional responsibilities and strategic projects as assigned.

• Proven leadership, coaching, talent development, and oversight experience for Nurse Informaticists.

• Expertise in the clinical domain.

• Background in clinical process innovation and continuous improvement.

• Experience in enterprise-wide clinical change management.

• Capability to serve as a clinical subject matter expert and strategic consultant.

• Proficient in gathering functional and workflow requirements from clinical, operational, product, UX, and executive stakeholders.

• Familiarity with structured performance improvement methodologies.

• Ability to translate clinical goals into scalable IT solutions.

• Competence in leading urgent, high-impact, clinically focused technology initiatives.

• Experience collaborating with clinical and operational business leaders across various healthcare sectors.
