This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more state.
• Lead the strategy and architecture for marketing data across intricate client environments.
• Define the processes for capturing, integrating, transforming, governing, activating, and measuring marketing data.
• Establish reusable methodologies, standards, and intellectual property concerning data architecture, integration, quality, automation, measurement readiness, and analytics delivery.
• Oversee scalable marketing data solutions that encompass CRM, marketing automation, media and ABM platforms, web analytics, data warehouses, BI environments, and marketing and sales systems.
• Translate business and marketing strategies into specifications for data, integration, segmentation, measurement, and reporting.
• Supervise ETL processes, APIs, cloud connectors, workflow automation, and data preparation across various platforms using SQL and Python-based solutions.
• Set standards for data quality and governance to ensure marketing data is accurate, consistent, accessible, secure, and reliable.
• Enhance marketing measurement and analytics capabilities, including KPI frameworks, reporting structures, and analytical methodologies.
• Link data infrastructure, measurement, and analytics to marketing decisions and business results.
• Act as a senior trusted advisor to client Marketing Operations, Analytics, Technology, and Marketing leaders.
• Lead discovery and solution-design initiatives, document requirements, identify gaps, and formulate future-state recommendations and implementation roadmaps.
• Assess new data, analytics, automation, and AI capabilities.
• Mentor and develop Marketing Data & Analytics talent through coaching, technical guidance, performance management, and career growth.
• Manage team resources and ensure delivery quality across multiple client engagements.
• Contribute to new business and organic growth through discovery, solution design, technical scoping, estimation, proposals, and client presentations.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing data, marketing analytics, data engineering, marketing operations, marketing technology, business intelligence, or a related field.
• Ideally, experience within an agency, consulting, or complex client-service setting.
• Proven experience in leading marketing data strategy and solution architecture across interconnected marketing and sales technology landscapes.
• Strong grasp of audience development, segmentation, personalization, campaign activation, measurement, attribution, reporting, and optimization.
• Experience in designing or overseeing ETL/ELT processes, data transformations, automated workflows, APIs, system integrations, and data quality frameworks.
• Proficient in SQL with familiarity in Python and contemporary data transformation or automation methodologies.
• Technical fluency to guide solutions and challenge architectural decisions.
• Extensive knowledge in web analytics and tag management, including GA4, GTM, and Adobe Analytics.
• Experience in defining measurement frameworks, tagging and data layer architectures, event taxonomies, implementation standards, QA processes, and governance.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, 6sense, Demandbase, cloud data warehouses, BI platforms, and data integration or automation tools.
• Comprehensive understanding of data architecture, data modeling, governance, identity, integration patterns, and marketing data quality.
• Ability to link campaign and customer data to KPIs, reporting, performance analysis, and business outcomes.
• Skill in simplifying complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent client-facing communication and executive presentation abilities.
• Capability to lead complex engagements from discovery and requirements gathering through solution design, implementation, and optimization.
• Experience in managing and developing multidisciplinary data and analytics talent.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and collaboration skills.
• Experience in identifying, scoping, and nurturing new business and organic growth opportunities.
• A keen interest in AI, automation, modern data platforms, and advanced analytics.
