This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Utilize previous in-market, launch, and pipeline experience to assist the commercial team in developing and implementing a comprehensive Global market insights and analytics strategy.
• Lead compliant primary market research projects aimed at generating insights for global commercial and brand strategies.
• Manage external competitive intelligence vendors and supervise market landscapes, global congress monitoring, and clinical-stage intelligence.
• Identify competitive threats, opportunities, and evolving market dynamics.
• Collaborate with commercial stakeholders on annual brand planning deliverables, including Situational Assessment, Global Market Outlook, and Market Map.
• Establish relationships with affiliate and cross-functional experts.
• Define issues, design research methodologies, and synthesize insights to facilitate commercial decision-making.
• Clearly and succinctly communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Synthesize insights into frameworks that support alignment on strategies for launch optimization.
• Act as an organizational and strategic thought partner for data-driven, evidence-based decision-making.
• Generate competitive intelligence and market insights for a newly launched neuromuscular treatment and potential new indications.
• Over 10 years of experience in market insights and analytics, market research, or competitive intelligence within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.
• Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet critical deadlines, and deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.
• Proficiency in primary and secondary research methodologies, including study design, data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
• Experience in US and Global Market Research is preferred.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical abilities, with the capacity to convert market research and competitive intelligence into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Demonstrated capability to identify, select, and manage external research vendors while fostering strong, collaborative partnerships.
• Proven adaptability to changing organizational needs and the ability to reprioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Strong work ethic coupled with high standards of professionalism and integrity.
• Experience generating market insights to support successful product launches; experience with rare diseases is preferred.
• A BS/BA in business, management, or science is required.
• A graduate degree (MBA) and/or equivalent experience and education in strategic leadership and business is preferred.
• Travel is required for onsite competitive intelligence congress coverage and ad-hoc corporate meetings.
