Director, IT Business Relationship Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the main IT relationship leader for North America.

• Provide direct support to General Managers across 8–10 manufacturing facilities.

• Collaborate with plant leadership and regional teams to comprehend priorities related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, growth, and compliance.

• Transform business requirements into IT demand, roadmaps, priorities, business cases, and execution plans that align with digital strategy.

• Achieve results by collaborating with Enterprise Systems, Infrastructure & Operations, Cyber Security, Data & Analytics, and AI & Automation teams.

• Oversee and coordinate issue escalation, service performance, project delivery, adoption, and change readiness across various sites and functions.

• Spot opportunities to enhance manufacturing operations through ERP, MES, data, automation, and secure infrastructure capabilities.

• Convey status, risks, benefits, and trade-offs to General Managers, regional leaders, and IT leadership.

• Assess value realization and business outcomes stemming from digital initiatives.

• Continuously enhance the regional IT engagement model.


⛳️ Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in IT leadership.

• Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial operations is preferred.

• Strong practical knowledge of AI applications.

• Capability to utilize generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Codex, and similar platforms.

• Proficiency in advanced prompting techniques.

• Solid understanding of manufacturing IT, ERP, MES, quality systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data/analytics, and enterprise applications.

• Proven ability to collaborate directly with General Managers and senior functional leaders.

• Demonstrated success in functioning within a matrix organization and influencing without direct authority.

• Experience delivering results through shared tower teams.

• Strong skills in executive communication, stakeholder management, prioritization, and change adoption.

• Experience supporting multi-site plants and translating operational needs into actionable, measurable IT outcomes.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

• A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.

• Certifications in ITIL, PMP, SCRUM, PRINCE2, Supply Chain, Planning, and manufacturing systems are a plus.

• For positions involving controlled information or technology, documentation may be necessary to evaluate U.S. export-control licensing requirements.
