Director, Professional Services – EMEA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +7 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct the EMEA Workday Professional Services division

• Take ownership of regional P&L metrics, encompassing revenue, margin, utilization, backlog, and forecast precision

• Foster sustainable growth in collaboration with Sales and Alliance teams

• Assist in pipeline development, conduct deal reviews, and engage in strategic pursuits

• Formulate and implement annual operating plans that align with global goals

• Ensure the successful execution of Workday implementations, optimization initiatives, and managed services

• Establish governance frameworks for project quality, risk management, and client satisfaction

• Evaluate and take action in high-risk projects

• Promote uniformity in delivery methodologies, tools, and best practices

• Track and enhance delivery KPIs

• Build executive relationships with key clients and stakeholders

• Serve as the executive sponsor for strategic accounts and critical initiatives

• Lead the resolution of escalations and complex client scenarios

• Drive customer retention, expansion opportunities, and referenceability

• Assemble and lead a high-performing regional leadership team

• Attract, nurture, and retain Workday consulting talent

• Develop succession plans for essential leadership roles

• Mentor managers and emerging leaders throughout the EMEA region

• Collaborate with Sales leadership on strategic opportunities, proposals, pricing, and commercial approvals

• Ensure delivery commitments are in sync with resource capacity and business objectives

• Aid in contract reviews and governance of statements of work

• Forge executive relationships with Workday's regional leadership

• Support joint account planning and go-to-market strategies

• Represent the organization within the Workday partner ecosystem

• Align operations with Workday's strategic priorities and market initiatives

• Report directly to the VP / GM of Global Workday Professional Services

• Lead Regional Practice Leaders, Delivery Directors, Engagement Leaders, and Resource Management Leaders

⛳️ Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in consulting or professional services leadership

• 5+ years of experience managing regional or multi-country delivery organizations

• Extensive knowledge of Workday implementation and post-production services

• Proven success in leading large-scale transformation initiatives

• Experience managing relationships at the executive level with clients

• A solid track record of meeting revenue, margin, and utilization targets

• Experience leading teams that are geographically dispersed across EMEA

• Valid work authorization in the country of application, with no visa sponsorship needed from Strada

• Successful completion of relevant background checks
