This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Create comprehensive TV media strategies for prominent agency clients managing accounts ranging from $10–30M+
• Supervise integrated planning across linear TV, CTV, and OLV/YouTube, incorporating audio, print, OOH, social, and search as required
• Plan and oversee primarily national campaigns, with local initiatives as necessary
• Concentrate on brand and performance KPIs such as reach, frequency, efficiency, response, orders, and revenue
• Utilize proprietary and first-party/third-party data to effectively target audiences and reduce duplicated reach across linear and streaming platforms
• Examine response data, audience insights, and attribution outputs to optimize ongoing campaigns and guide recommendations
• Cultivate client relationships through a deep understanding of their business and providing strategic media advice
• Present integrated media plans, campaign outcomes, insights, and actionable recommendations to clients
• Innovate and propose creative media concepts to enhance client relationships and expand media footprints
• Clearly and persuasively articulate objectives, strategies, viewpoints, and data-driven narratives
• Mentor, coach, and support planning team members and partners across departments
• Utilize and enhance proprietary agency tools, technology platforms, and attribution models
• Apply knowledge of DSPs, ACR data, and data clean rooms
• Navigate the dynamics of upfront and scatter markets across linear and CTV, including PG and PMP deals
• Prepare and present media strategy pitches for acquiring new business
• Familiarize yourself with new business categories and competitive landscapes
• Utilize data-driven storytelling to support business development
• A minimum of 10 years of agency media planning experience with national accounts
• Proficiency in linear TV, CTV, and performance-driven media
• Expertise in Converged TV planning
• Experience in cross-channel planning is advantageous
• Knowledge of the accelerated growth objectives of entrepreneurial agencies and clients
• Background in team and department building
• Highly analytical and data-oriented, demonstrating strong attention to detail
• Mastery of planning, measurement, and reporting tools like Nielsen, Comscore, R/F planning platforms, Commspoint, iSpot, Innovid, competitive tracking tools, MRI, or similar platforms
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Experience employing data, attribution models, and proprietary or third-party tools to enhance campaign performance
• Background in preparing and pitching media strategies for new business and fostering growth with existing clients
• Awareness of current trends and a readiness to take calculated risks
• Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills
• Proactive, self-motivated, and well-organized
• Willingness to attend meetings across different time zones
• Capability to plan primarily national campaigns and local campaigns when necessary
