Director, Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Formulate and execute a strategic vision for the organization’s IT infrastructure.

• Lead the infrastructure team, offering guidance, mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth.

• Supervise the design, implementation, and upkeep of network, server, storage, and cloud infrastructures.

• Ensure the dependability, scalability, and efficiency of IT systems and networks.

• Manage infrastructure projects while adhering to budgetary and timeline constraints.

• Establish and uphold infrastructure management and security protocols, procedures, and standards.

• Monitor and evaluate infrastructure performance, initiating improvements as necessary.

• Evaluate industry trends and new technological advancements.

• Handle vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for hardware, software, and services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management.

• A minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership position.

• Demonstrated experience in designing and managing intricate IT infrastructure, including cloud environments.

• In-depth knowledge of network architecture, server management, storage solutions, and cybersecurity practices.

• Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, prioritizing mentorship and professional development.

• Strong project management expertise, with a history of overseeing large-scale infrastructure initiatives.

• Regular availability during Eastern Time business hours.
