Director, IKC Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Oversee the phased implementation roadmap across designated dialysis clinics

• Manage site readiness milestones and go-live gating

• Obtain approvals from the clinic Governing Body and align with local Medical Directors for provider rounding

• Facilitate throughput to reach 10 daily completed patient encounters per NP pod

• Assess NP and CC chairside rounding schedules, travel efficiency across clinic clusters, and provider administrative buffer times

• Collaborate with local teams to meet panel density goals of approximately 230 patients per pod

• Develop standardized workflows for pre-encounter chart preparation and clinician documentation support with medical scribe vendors

• Assist in pilot rollouts and provide additional support to low-performing pods

• Conduct Weekly Pod Operational Reviews with NPMs and ROSs

• Hold bi-weekly one-on-one syncs with frontline clinicians and operational managers

• Deliver targeted operational coaching and interventions for underperforming pods

• Analyze operational scorecards, schedule utilization, no-show rates, and patient drop-off trends

• Execute rapid corrective action plans

• Work with Gemini/Analytics to produce automated operational dashboards

• Review scorecards and refine processes and operational workflows based on underperformance

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field

• Over 5 years of progressive experience in healthcare operational leadership

• Demonstrated success in managing multi-site ambulatory clinics, value-based care operations, or distributed clinical networks

• Proficient in provider capacity modeling, clinical scheduling optimization, and healthcare productivity metrics

• Strong skills in matrix management

• Capability to influence cross-functional clinical, financial, operational, and compliance leaders

• Familiarity with electronic health records; Epic experience preferred

• Knowledge of operational analytics tools
