This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
β’ Act as a strategic consultant for senior leadership, ensuring alignment between people strategies and business goals.
β’ Collaborate with senior leaders and RDFLT members to convert business priorities into effective people strategies.
β’ Offer expert guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development.
β’ Counsel and mentor senior leaders on intricate people and organizational issues.
β’ Cultivate organizational insight and translate business strategies, priorities, and customer requirements into people-focused priorities.
β’ Operate across the HR operating model and matrix teams to implement functional projects and programs.
β’ Collaborate with senior leaders on organizational restructuring and future capability planning.
β’ Lead and facilitate change management efforts, including reorganizations and mergers & acquisitions activities.
β’ Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (COEs) to promote organizational values, enhance employee engagement, and drive change initiatives.
β’ Implement talent management processes driven by business needs and monitor outcomes from talent reviews.
β’ Work alongside global HR teams to identify process enhancements and share best practices.
β’ Utilize data, metrics, and evidence to guide decision-making and foster change.
β’ Experience in HR partnerships, with a strong focus on coaching and influencing senior leaders.
β’ Background in performance management, rewards, talent acquisition, organizational development, and change management.
β’ Strong business insight and experience in leading organizational transformations and influencing senior leadership.
β’ Ability to manage ambiguity, shifting priorities, and high-volume workloads.
β’ Solid process orientation and project management capabilities.
β’ Outstanding relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
β’ Proven capacity to influence, advise, and mentor senior leaders.
β’ Demonstrated ability to solve strategic problems effectively.
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a keen attention to detail, customer service orientation, and strong management presence.
β’ Experience in a global organization, particularly with a focus on matrix teams and projects.
β’ Comprehensive knowledge of US, UK, or EU HR practices.
β’ Ability to manage, interpret, and utilize data to guide decisions and solutions.
β’ Proficient in the MS Office Suite and HR systems, preferably Workday.
β’ Intellectual curiosity and the ability to leverage AI to enhance value and capacity within the HR team.
β’ A Bachelorβs degree in business, HR, or a related field is mandatory.
β’ Experience in the Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences sector is highly preferred.
β’ Background in R&D support is a plus.
β’ HR professional certification is advantageous.
