Director, HR Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Oversee the integration of Axcelis and Veeco into a unified Workday platform.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive multi-year Workday strategy.

• Establish governance, data standards, and effective release management protocols.

• Provide workforce analytics and reporting to support executive decision-making.

• Convert business requirements from HR, IT, payroll, and finance into scalable Workday solutions.

• Create and lead the HRIS department while nurturing an existing team of three.

• Coordinate with external partners to achieve integration milestones and enhance systems.

• Report directly to the Vice President of HR Operations.

• Position Workday as the record-keeping system for approximately 3,000 employees across North America, Europe, and Asia.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in human resources information systems or HR technology.

• More than 5 years of practical Workday experience, including implementation or large-scale optimization.

• Proven experience leading enterprise system projects across various entities, regions, or business units.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Proficient in Workday modules such as Core HCM, recruiting, compensation, time tracking, benefits, and performance management.

• Experience supporting global workforces in manufacturing settings, with knowledge of time tracking, shift structures, and compliance across North America, Europe, and Asia.

• Background in leading HR system integrations during mergers, acquisitions, or significant organizational changes.

• Capability to design data structures and reporting systems that yield clear, actionable insights for executive decision-making.

• Proficient in translating complex system functionalities into actionable strategies for senior leadership across HR, IT, payroll, and finance.

• Experience in establishing governance frameworks that maintain data integrity, scalability, and long-term system efficiency.

• Ability to build and expand HR technology teams while defining structured and effective operational models.
