This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Cultivate and enhance relationships with key healthcare accounts in long-term care, post-discharge, and chronic care meal programs.
• Lead a team of regional Managers of Healthcare Partnerships based in the field.
• Supervise and implement Medicaid and Long-Term Care field sales systems to optimize territory performance.
• Collaborate with the Implementation Manager and the broader Mom’s Meals team to onboard and integrate new health plan accounts.
• Build relationships, create training materials, and educate account team members on services.
• Assess territory performance, productivity, metrics, workload, and outputs; ensure compliance and address issues through corrective measures.
• Discover opportunities for clinical data analysis, readmission/utilization/cost-saving assessments, quality improvement, and case studies.
• Position Mom’s Meals as a strategic partner in healthcare to support organizational objectives.
• Represent Mom’s Meals at national and regional conferences and follow up on leads generated.
• Travel both regionally and nationally to engage with accounts and participate in conferences.
• Oversee field rides and virtual evaluations of customer-facing presentations, in-services, leadership meetings, and continuing education programs.
• Mentor, coach, develop, train, and provide support to the field sales team.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to refresh customer service messaging across marketing materials, slide presentations, in-services, and continuing education.
• Manage CRM training and compliance for the field team.
• Create and oversee performance scorecard achievements for the field team.
• Provide coverage for open territories as necessary.
• Develop and present quarterly account plans in conjunction with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Analytics, IT, and other leadership teams.
• Maintain ongoing communication and alignment with leadership to align with account and business needs.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of combined experience in clinical work and/or Healthcare Account Management, business development, or sales.
• Proficient in LTSS, HCBS, and Medicaid programs, including Managed Medicaid, LTSS, and Medicaid FFS programs.
• Demonstrated history of setting and monitoring milestones, following up, documenting consistently, and communicating professionally and timely with stakeholders.
• Capability to engage professionally with partners and foster trusting, respectful, and mutually beneficial relationships with key accounts and internal teams.
• Proven ability to identify root causes, clarify issues, and assist in creating processes with both internal and external teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Genuine passion and commitment to helping individuals.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with CRM systems, Salesforce, or comparable organizational sales software.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time for regional and nationwide day and overnight trips.
• Ability to set up and disassemble table and/or booth displays for conferences.
• Residing near a major airport is essential.
• Preferred: prior experience working with Medicaid and Medicare Advantage Managed Care plans.
• Preferred: knowledge of Medicaid benefit programs.
• Preferred: clinical background such as Nurse or Registered Dietitian.
• Preferred: experience with pilot program development, execution, and quality measures such as HEDIS and Stars.
• Physical requirements include repetitive wrist, hand, and/or finger motions; prolonged sitting; and visual perception capabilities including peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
