This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary contact for Global Value & Access regarding input on pricing, access, and coverage assumptions.
• Collaborate with regional and country Value & Access teams, as well as cross-functional partners, to ensure alignment on assumptions.
• Conduct targeted research focused on business development opportunities.
• Investigate target products, analogs, and competitors utilizing resources such as Navlin, Analysource, IQVIA MIDAS, AlphaSense, DRG, MMIT, CMS Medicare, and business development diligence materials.
• Work alongside the Operational Pricing team and external agencies to conduct payer research.
• Offer pricing and access assumptions necessary for business development revenue forecasts and sensitivity analyses.
• Lead cross-functional teams in identifying pricing and access risks and opportunities that inform product strategy and revenue projections.
• Engage in deal governance and project meetings.
• Ensure that Global Value & Access inputs are consistent with cross-functional evaluations, timelines, and decision-making points.
• May take the lead on strategic projects or act as the Access Strategy Lead for early-stage internal pipeline products.
• Doctorate degree with 4 years of experience in market access or payer roles, or in a business capacity within a Marketing/Sales commercial organization; or a Master’s degree with 7 years of relevant experience; or a Bachelor’s degree with 9 years of related experience.
• Demonstrated capability to operate in a dynamic, interactive, matrix environment and forge strong business relationships.
• Proficient in translating intricate pricing and reimbursement analyses into pertinent analytical inquiries.
• Skilled in converting analytic results into pricing and access opportunities with measurable impact.
• Strong strategic mindset and an ability to cultivate new capabilities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills in conceptual contexts.
• High proficiency in pricing and access technical skills, with fluency in data analysis and market research.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Comprehensive understanding of US and global payer landscapes, including coverage, reimbursement, pricing, value drivers, formulary management, health technology assessment, and health policy.
• In-depth knowledge of the U.S. Government and Commercial reimbursement frameworks.
• Experience in US Market Access, Global Market Access, or consulting firms specializing in Market Access with extensive US expertise.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong critical thinking skills and a consulting-oriented mindset.
• Awareness of drug pricing and reimbursement economics for both oral and injectable assets.
