This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee the technical aspects of respiratory products manufactured externally and manage selected global key brands.
β’ Design and implement technology-transfer projects that are in line with commercial launch objectives.
β’ Enhance the robustness, efficiency, right-first-time performance, and cost-effectiveness of manufacturing processes.
β’ Collaborate with Respiratory R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Sourcing, and other departments to oversee contract manufacturing.
β’ Act as the technical liaison for contract manufacturing organizations, assessing technical performance and capacity in relation to demand.
β’ Manage contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs), vendors, project timelines, budgets, risks, and ensure stakeholder alignment.
β’ Provide support between Process Development and Manufacturing Operations for the GMP implementation of new processes and technologies.
β’ Lead investigations, determine root causes, and ensure closure of CAPA for external GMP manufacturing operations.
β’ Identify and formulate business cases for enhancements in quality, safety, productivity, reliability, technology, and cost.
β’ Serve as a subject-matter expert, enhance the technical proficiency of colleagues, and promote continuous improvement and innovation in new technology/products.
β’ A minimum of a Bachelorβs Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or a related scientific discipline is required, along with relevant experience; related experience and/or education may be taken into account.
β’ Familiarity with pharmaceutical development and GMP manufacturing, ideally for respiratory products.
β’ Experience in at least one of the following product categories: OINDP, parenteral, blow-fill-seal, vaccine, or drug/device combinations.
β’ Capability to plan, coordinate, and implement experimental plans, particularly in commercial plants.
β’ Experience in statistical analysis and reporting findings to technical and senior leadership stakeholders.
β’ Ability to build, lead, and technically manage matrix teams responsible for the delivery of complex products.
β’ Proven skills in influencing, negotiation, conflict resolution, and managing stakeholder/senior leader relationships.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Proficiency in speaking, understanding, reading, and writing English.
β’ Ability to work remotely from the UK, Europe, or the United States.
