This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the global Space and Occupancy Planning function across the client's portfolio.
• Create both short- and long-term occupancy strategies to optimize portfolio utilization, capacity planning, and space allocation.
• Provide guidance to client leadership on workplace trends, hybrid work strategies, portfolio efficiencies, and future workplace planning.
• Convert business objectives into practical occupancy and workplace solutions.
• Formulate portfolio recommendations aimed at enhancing utilization, reducing costs, mitigating risks, and improving workforce experience.
• Establish global standards, methodologies, and governance processes for occupancy planning.
• Lead activities related to demand forecasting, capacity modeling, scenario planning, and workforce growth analysis.
• Direct studies on utilization and conduct occupancy assessments.
• Utilize portfolio data and workplace analytics to provide executive-level insights and recommendations.
• Ensure accurate reporting on occupancy, allocation, and utilization.
• Collaborate with client leadership on workplace strategies and portfolio transformation initiatives, including consolidations, expansions, relocations, redesigns, and return-to-office strategies.
• Cultivate trusted advisor relationships with senior stakeholders across Real Estate, Facilities, HR, Technology, and Business Operations.
• Facilitate executive business reviews and strategic planning discussions.
• Present occupancy data, portfolio scenarios, and workplace recommendations to executive audiences.
• Develop best practices, standards, playbooks, procedures, and frameworks for service delivery.
• Ensure adherence to account, client, and corporate governance requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement with a focus on efficiency, quality, consistency, and scalability.
• Lead, develop, and mentor a global team of space planners, occupancy planners, move managers, and workplace strategy professionals.
• Create workforce planning strategies, performance objectives, succession plans, and professional development opportunities.
• Support strategic portfolio planning through financial analysis, occupancy cost benchmarking, and scenario modeling.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, forecasts, resource plans, and staffing models.
• Collaborate with Finance and Real Estate leadership on business cases to support workplace and portfolio investments.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Corporate Real Estate, Facilities Management, Urban Planning, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Corporate Real Estate, Occupancy Planning, Workplace Strategy, Portfolio Planning, or Space Management.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing regional or global teams.
• Proven experience in leading occupancy planning programs within large and complex corporate portfolios.
• Strong skills in executive presentations and stakeholder management.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and facilitate strategic decision-making.
• Advanced analytical abilities with experience in translating data into actionable business recommendations.
• Experience in supporting hybrid workplace models and workplace transformation initiatives.
• Expertise in occupancy analytics, utilization planning, demand forecasting, capacity modeling, and portfolio optimization.
• Preferred: experience in supporting global enterprise clients with multi-region portfolios.
• Preferred: background in professional services, technology, financial services, or knowledge-worker environments.
• Preferred: CAFM/IWMS expertise including Serraview, Archibus, TRIRIGA, or similar platforms.
• Preferred: familiarity with workplace analytics platforms and business intelligence tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Preferred: professional certifications such as MCR, SLCR, PMP, LEED, IFMA, or CoreNet Global credentials.
