This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +3 more states.
• Take ownership of the global Master Data Management data landscape, consistently evaluating and harmonizing the data requirements of the organization.
• Manage the global Master Data Management systems landscape, guiding teams and partners on landscape priorities.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to associates within the Global Master Data Management organization.
• Ensure team members acquire the technical and business skills necessary to achieve set objectives.
• Maintain relationships with partners and enhance their understanding of MDM knowledge and processes.
• Establish and uphold metrics aimed at driving process enhancements across MDM domains and environments.
• Make independent decisions and present recommendations regarding processes and policies to the leadership of DePuy Synthes Information Technologies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to define and gather requirements for programs interfacing with enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, and business solution environments.
• Identify and address deficiencies within departmental systems and data capabilities.
• Develop and spearhead MDM systems improvement initiatives to boost efficiency or enhance operational performance.
• Engage with executive leaders, directors, and managers to plan and implement improvement efforts.
• Support functions in utilizing MDM tools through education, training, and the development and enhancement of tools.
• Communicate issues and opportunities to the next level of management.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, federal, state, local, and company regulations.
• Scale the DePuy Synthes MDM ecosystem into a top-tier medallion architecture that supports enterprise applications and AI environments.
• Ensure a high-quality data environment to enable data-driven community insights.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; MBA or MS is preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience is required.
• Prior experience in people management is necessary.
• Proven experience in creating Enterprise or Business-specific Master Data Management strategies that support complex data architectures, data governance frameworks, and AI data readiness.
• Demonstrated success in leading or mentoring teams to achieve quality and process improvements.
• Experience in developing training materials and instructing individuals at all levels.
• Strong skills in project/account management and testing strategy.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Proven record of successful collaboration with outsourcing partners and delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Familiarity with Master Data Management, Supply Chain, R&D, Corporate, and Commercial Systems.
• Strong business acumen coupled with technical expertise.
• Excellent organizational, communication, social, and interpersonal skills.
• Results-oriented with strong problem-solving and resolution capabilities.
• Critical thinking abilities.
• Capability to operate within a matrix reporting structure and as part of a project team.
• Ability to collaborate with senior management and exercise independent business judgment.
• Preferred: Experience as an analyst; experience with call center support structures/processes; knowledge of process improvement tools such as SFE or LEAN/Six Sigma.
• Proficiency in query and report writing tools, Incentive Compensation Systems, and PC software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Windows.
