This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +3 more states.
• Take ownership of the Global Master Data Management data landscape.
• Continuously evaluate and harmonize data requirements to align with business goals.
• Oversee the Global Master Data Management systems landscape.
• Lead the managed team and partners in executing systems-landscape priorities.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to associates in Global Master Data Management.
• Ensure team members possess the necessary technical and business skills to achieve objectives.
• Maintain relationships with partners and enhance their knowledge of MDM.
• Establish and sustain metrics to promote process improvements across MDM domains and environments.
• Make independent decisions and present recommendations on processes and policies to DePuy Synthes Information Technologies leadership.
• Collaborate with internal teams to define and gather requirements for programs interfacing with enterprise data warehouses, enterprise data lakes, and business solution environments.
• Identify and address shortcomings in departmental systems and data capabilities.
• Develop and lead initiatives aimed at improving MDM systems.
• Engage with executive leaders, directors, and managers for planning and executing improvement efforts.
• Lead the support for tools utilized in accessing data within MDM applications, including education, training, and tool development/enhancement.
• Communicate issues and opportunities to the upper management level.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, legal, regulatory, and company policies.
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
• Scale the DePuy Synthes MDM ecosystem into a top-tier medallion architecture.
• Ensure a high-quality data environment that facilitates data-driven organizational insights.
• BS or BA degree (preferably in Business/IT), MBA or MS is preferred.
• A minimum of 10+ years of relevant work experience is required.
• Previous people management experience is essential.
• Experience in creating an Enterprise or Business-specific Master Data Management Strategy that supports complex data architecture, data governance frameworks, and AI data readiness.
• Proven track record of leading or mentoring teams to achieve quality and process enhancements.
• Experience in developing training materials and instructing individuals at all levels.
• Strong skills in project/account management and testing strategy.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
• Demonstrated success in working with outsourced partners and leading projects on time and within budget.
• Familiarity with Master Data Management, Supply Chain, R&D, Corporate, and Commercial Systems.
• Strong business acumen paired with technical skills.

• Strong critical thinking capabilities.
• Ability to operate within a matrix reporting structure and as part of a project team.
• Capability to engage with senior management and exercise independent judgment in business decisions.
• Preferred: experience as an analyst; familiarity with call center support structure/process; knowledge of process improvement tools such as SFE or LEAN/Six Sigma; experience with query and report writing tools; knowledge of Incentive Compensation Systems; proficiency in PC software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Windows.
