This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee forecasting, cash flow, and channel economics for a rapidly expanding, multi-channel business.
• Report directly to the SVP of Finance.
• Lead the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team.
• Collaborate with leadership from Marketing, Product, Retail, and Operations.
• Develop financial models for Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) that encompass cohorts, Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)/Lifetime Value (LTV), and revenue forecasting driven by retention.
• Manage retail Profit and Loss (P&L), consumption planning, trade forecasting, trade performance, and promotional forecasting.
• Analyze channel profitability by SKU, channel, and account to inform pricing, trade, and investment strategies.
• Take ownership of weekly and monthly cash flow and liquidity forecasting from start to finish.
• Conduct regular cross-functional Business Variance Analysis (BVA) and forecasting reviews with leads from Marketing, Retail, and Operations.
• Transform variance analysis into clear actionable insights and subsequent steps.
• Model or validate financial scenarios for new product introductions, channel growth, and other investment opportunities.
• Establish a scalable and repeatable process along with planning infrastructure.
• Contribute to reports for the Board and investors.
• Mentor and nurture the development of team members.
• 7 to 10 years of experience in FP&A.
• Strong preference for experience in omni-channel Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG).
• Proven ability to create scalable and repeatable planning processes.
• Proficient in working directly within a modern data warehouse and Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
• Genuine expertise in utilizing AI tools to enhance analysis and modeling.
• Experience in mentoring and developing team members.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable presenting information to senior leadership.
• Familiarity with Metabase, Looker, Drivepoint, or similar FP&A/BI platforms (preferred).
• Ability to write code or scripts beyond SQL (preferred).
• Experience with transaction processes such as M&A, private equity diligence, or Quality of Earnings (QoE) (preferred).
• Variable compensation including bonus and equity.
