Director, Finance Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +4 more locations.

📋 Description

• Oversee the strategy, architecture, implementation, and continual development of Finance systems and technology.

• Develop and manage the Finance Systems strategy and operational framework.

• Take ownership of the Finance functional architecture and the roadmap for the company's ERP and associated financial systems.

• Integrate financial systems with HR, payroll, procurement, banking, tax, planning, CRM, supply chain, and operational systems.

• Drive automation and transformation initiatives across record-to-report, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, revenue accounting, inventory and cost accounting, fixed assets, intercompany accounting, treasury and banking, tax, payroll accounting, financial planning and forecasting, as well as management and financial reporting.

• Create an AI-driven Finance roadmap and a robust Finance data architecture.

• Identify opportunities for generative AI, agents, intelligent workflows, anomaly detection, automated reconciliation, and predictive analytics.

• Collaborate with Data and Analytics teams to ensure Finance data is accurate, accessible, traceable, and valuable for decision-making.

• Incorporate financial controls into system design and business processes.

• Lead cross-functional Finance technology and transformation initiatives from business case development through implementation and adoption.

• Articulate strategy and investment needs to senior leadership.

• Create a high-performing Finance Systems organization centered around simplification, automation, continuous improvement, customer experience, and measurable business results.

• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Operations, IT, HR, and other business functions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Profound understanding of finance and accounting processes, including financial close, revenue recognition, inventory accounting, and financial planning.

• Proficiency in technology, data, and systems, including integrations, data architecture, APIs, master data, security, and system design.

• Experience in establishing Finance infrastructure in contexts where business growth has outpaced existing processes and systems.

• Over 10 years of experience in Finance Systems, Accounting Systems, Finance Transformation, Enterprise Applications, or related fields.

• More than 5 years of experience leading teams, large systems programs, or enterprise transformation projects.

• Familiarity with enterprise ERP and financial platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, or similar systems.

• Experience in technology, semiconductor, hardware, manufacturing, AI infrastructure, or other complex global operational settings is highly desirable.

• Eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled technology, which includes compliance with relevant U.S. export regulations and potential citizenship/permanent residency or previous license approval requirements.
