This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
β’ Oversee, coach, mentor, and nurture the development of Field Reimbursement Managers within designated manufacturer programs.
β’ Promote accountability, collaboration, patient-focused support, and ongoing improvement.
β’ Execute field observations, coaching sessions, performance evaluations, and development planning.
β’ Enhance employee engagement, retention, and succession planning efforts.
β’ Identify, interview, hire, and integrate field reimbursement professionals.
β’ Act as a strategic business ally to pharmaceutical manufacturer clients.
β’ Engage in governance meetings, business reviews, launch preparations, and strategic initiatives.
β’ Present program performance metrics, trends, insights, and recommendations to leadership and clients.
β’ Cultivate relationships with client leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
β’ Recognize opportunities to enhance customer experience and program outcomes.
β’ Ensure effective execution of field reimbursement services.
β’ Track program metrics, workload distribution, productivity, and quality benchmarks.
β’ Create and execute processes that enhance efficiency and scalability.
β’ Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Compliance, Technology, and Training teams.
β’ Ensure compliance with SLAs, KPIs, and contractual commitments.
β’ Provide expertise in reimbursement, prior authorizations, appeals, benefits investigations, claims processing, coding and billing, payer policies, specialty pharmacy, buy-and-bill, and patient support programs.
β’ Stay updated on reimbursement trends, payer policy modifications, and access challenges.
β’ Assist with product launches and lifecycle management.
β’ Develop strategies for field deployment and territory optimization recommendations.
β’ Analyze customer insights and market trends.
β’ Collaborate on resource planning and forecasting.
β’ Drive ongoing process improvement initiatives.
β’ Work together with Client Services, Commercial Leadership, Operations, Training, Quality Assurance, Compliance, Human Resources, Analytics, Technology, Project Management, and Medical Affairs.
β’ Monitor and enhance customer satisfaction, field productivity, case outcomes, provider engagement, quality, compliance, employee performance, client satisfaction, and financial results.
β’ Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of leadership experience in Field Reimbursement Management.
β’ 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical reimbursement, patient access, market access, or specialty pharmacy.
β’ 5+ years of experience in a leadership role.
β’ Proven experience leading field-based teams.
β’ Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement and payer processes.
β’ Experience in supporting pharmaceutical manufacturer programs.
β’ Exceptional leadership and coaching capabilities.
β’ Strong skills in presentation and executive communication.
β’ Ability to analyze data and provide strategic business recommendations.
β’ Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools.
β’ Willingness to travel approximately 50-75% of the time.
β’ Preferred: experience in supporting multiple therapeutic areas.
β’ Preferred: experience in product launches.
β’ Preferred: experience in national account or field leadership roles.
β’ Preferred: experience managing manufacturer clients.
β’ Ability to communicate effectively, sit for extended periods, type, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
β’ Preferred ability to type at least 35 words per minute with 97% accuracy.
β’ Successful completion of a background check and, depending on the position, a drug screening may be required.
