This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Establish Wingstop as a recognized brand in India, starting with the inaugural restaurant opening in Bangalore.
• Adapt Wingstop’s global brand essence into a locally relevant and culturally engaging offering for Indian consumers.
• Create and implement the marketing strategy and launch roadmap for India.
• Own the brand strategy and positioning specifically for the Indian market.
• Lead the comprehensive go-to-market plan for the first restaurant opening in Bangalore, encompassing audience strategy, creative development, media, digital and social marketing, PR, influencer engagements, partnerships, local activations, and launch execution.
• Formulate an India marketing plan and investment framework that supports market entry, restaurant growth, and future expansion.
• Develop a scalable playbook for market entry and new restaurant openings for growth beyond Bangalore.
• Conduct local consumer, cultural, category, and competitive insight research.
• Establish and manage the local agency ecosystem, which includes handling RFPs, agency selection, briefings, creative development, and performance evaluation.
• Enhance ordering through brand-owned digital channels by improving conversion rates, repeat orders, and average unit volume (AUV).
• Collaborate in designing the CRM and Loyalty roadmap.
• Build national, state, and hyperlocal partnerships to drive traffic, including collaborations with Digital Service Providers (DSPs).
• Oversee the localization of global campaigns and creative assets while maintaining brand standards, tone, and visual identity.
• Provide guidance to the Brand Partner regarding marketing investments, local market priorities, and long-term brand-building strategies.
• Work alongside Regional Marketing Directors to enhance activities based on data insights and learnings.
• Identify and engage in culturally significant partnerships, influencers, events, and local happenings.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Development, Culinary, Supply Chain, and other teams.
• Manage marketing initiatives within budget constraints, maximize ROI, and prepare performance reports and strategic recommendations for India and GSC leadership.
• Introduce innovative ideas, test-and-learn initiatives, and scalable solutions, sharing insights with the international team.
• At least 8 years of marketing experience, with substantial expertise in field, brand, or market-entry marketing.
• Proven ability to transform consumer and cultural insights into effective brand strategies and quantifiable commercial outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
• Experience in brand strategy, integrated marketing, media, digital, and social platforms.
• Demonstrated experience in leading agencies and managing complex cross-functional stakeholder groups.
• Strong preference for candidates with experience in building brands in India or launching into new markets.
• High willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Availability to work extended hours as required, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
