This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take full responsibility for the health, functionality, evolution, and lifecycle of the ERP capability.
• Create and implement the ERP roadmap, balancing short-term business requirements with long-term platform sustainability.
• Ensure the platform remains dependable, secure, maintainable, and capable of adapting to the changing business landscape.
• Oversee platform governance to minimize unnecessary complexity, customization, and technical debt.
• Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the business processes and workflows facilitated by the platform.
• Collaborate with employees and functional leaders to pinpoint friction, inefficiencies, workarounds, capability gaps, and areas for enhancement.
• Drive business-process improvement initiatives instead of merely executing system requirements or automating current processes.
• Convert business priorities into platform enhancements, ensuring that adjustments are embraced and yield desired business results.
• Maintain specialized ERP knowledge for comprehensive platform ownership.
• Utilize Operations & Sustainment and Innovation & Deployment capabilities when applicable.
• Oversee the organization, roadmap, resources, investments, vendors, and implementation partners essential for fulfilling the mission.
• Provide insights on platform performance, business opportunities, risks, priorities, and investment requirements to the Energy CTO and Business Area leadership.
• Foster an effective and engaged team by integrating capabilities, nurturing talent and leaders, and creating opportunities for growth within the combined Energy organization.
• Shape the technology organization for the unified Leidos Energy business by integrating Leidos and ENTRUST capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, business systems, or a related field, along with 12+ years of relevant professional experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Proven experience in leading and developing technical organizations and multidisciplinary teams, including the development of technical leaders.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing a major ERP or enterprise business platform, or comparable leadership of complex enterprise technology and the associated business processes.
• Proven experience collaborating across business functions to redesign or significantly enhance business processes supported by enterprise technology—not merely implementing system requirements.
• Ability to interpret complex business needs into technology priorities, effectively communicate choices and trade-offs to senior leaders, simplify intricate environments and processes, and lead across organizational boundaries.
• A Master’s degree in a relevant technical or business discipline is preferred.
• Familiarity with the ERP platform and technology ecosystem utilized by Leidos Energy is preferred.
• A deep understanding of the energy, utility, engineering, or other engineering-heavy sectors and their core operational and business processes is preferred.
• Experience in leading significant enterprise technology or ERP modernization efforts within a large, matrixed organization is preferred.
