Director, Customer Solutions Engineering PMO – EMEA, APAC

📋 Description

• Provide strategic guidance and responsibility for Rocket’s professional services portfolio.

• Facilitate outstanding customer results in collaboration with Rocket’s Customer Solutions Engineering organization.

• Ensure preparedness for portfolio expansion and onboarding following significant M&A integrations.

• Create and implement the vision and strategy for the CSE PMO in alignment with organizational objectives.

• Share responsibility for Rocket’s Professional Services Automation solution and associated processes.

• Enhance workflows for project managers, promote cross-functional collaboration, manage the portfolio, and improve customer outcomes.

• Assess and enhance PMO capabilities, governance, and maturity.

• Lead the delivery of remarkable customer experiences while exemplifying Rocket values.

• Oversee Project Management leadership activities, including planning, staffing, budgeting, expense oversight, and enhancements to delivery methodologies.

• Manage financial aspects of the post-sales portfolio, including planning, tracking, controlling, forecasting, and reporting.

• Influence leadership across CSE to ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to project execution.

• Develop and communicate project portfolio updates to stakeholders.

• Drive improvements in project management processes and methodologies.

• Empower members of the Project Management organization to handle customer engagements from initiation through implementation and go-live.

• Ensure identification, evaluation, tracking, communication, and mediation of project issues and risks.

• Set a long-term vision for PMO staffing, workflows, systems, leadership, and management.

• Lead the integration of CSE portfolios during corporate development M&A activities.

• Assess professional services methodologies, project portfolios, and resource needs of acquired entities.

• Resolve complex issues by utilizing data-driven insights.

• Collaborate with senior leadership to formulate strategic plans and objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience as a professional services leader managing a complex multi-million dollar portfolio delivering technical solutions.

• At least 10 years of prior management experience.

• Strong understanding of technical solution project life cycle models.

• Expert knowledge of Agile and traditional project management principles and practices.

• Capability to integrate Agile and traditional project management methodologies.

• Adequate technical background to provide credible leadership to project management teams.

• Proficiency in accurately and objectively evaluating complex project risks and issues.

• Ability to lead project management professionals and collaborate across various professional services functions.

• Business and financial acumen, with experience managing a large, complex, and expanding portfolio.

• Experience as a business owner of a fully integrated enterprise PSA application solution.

• Proven track record of successfully leading professional services teams in delivering technology solutions to large clients exceeding $1 billion.

• Extensive knowledge and experience with organizational change management methodologies.

• Ability to drive strategic initiatives within the constraints of time, resources, and budget.

• Experience in establishing KPIs and metrics to promote operational/service delivery excellence.

• Experience with M&A integration responsibilities.

• Experience in scaling organizational capabilities from end-to-end while maintaining quality and control.

• PMP, PfMP, and/or PgMP certifications are required.
