This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create strategies for underwriting, portfolio credit, pricing, and line management
• Utilize data, machine learning/artificial intelligence models, and advanced analytics tools to enhance credit performance
• Strengthen credit and fraud risk management while effectively balancing risk-return considerations
• Convert intricate findings into practical improvements
• Deliver data-informed recommendations to executive leadership and the Credit Risk Committee
• Convey complex data and insights to investors
• Collaborate with teams across Capital Markets, Product, Marketing, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Engineering
• Ensure that credit losses align with the company’s established risk appetite
• Discover and assess new products, vendors, alternative data sources, and emerging technologies
• Develop business cases for new capabilities
• Track credit performance at detailed segment levels
• Determine performance drivers and identify emerging trends
• Implement adjustments to credit strategies as necessary
• Lead teams in creating automated credit decision strategies
• Manage the comprehensive credit strategy process and oversee the credit quality and performance of the Credit Card business
• Master’s degree or higher in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or a similar field
• Over 10 years of experience in managing credit risk within Credit Card businesses
• Strong business insight and extensive knowledge of credit management
• More than 5 years of leadership experience
• Demonstrated capability to develop and mentor high-performing teams
• Capacity to excel in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality
• Exceptional thought leadership and ability to construct, refine, and enhance credit strategy frameworks
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Skill in clearly and succinctly articulating complex analyses and technical topics
• Team-oriented with a collaborative outlook
• Business-owner mindset
• Extensive and profound expertise in credit cards
• Experience with machine learning models, credit data, data analysis, and advanced analytics tools
