This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Formulate and articulate both short-term and long-term strategies for corporate growth.
• Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to identify, prioritize, and assess strategic initiatives.
• Oversee company-wide strategic evaluations and provide recommendations focusing on growth, profitability, portfolio optimization, and value creation.
• Create solution and segment strategies in conjunction with business, product, and segment leaders.
• Evaluate business portfolio performance and refine investment priorities.
• Prepare materials for the Board of Directors and the Executive Leadership Team.
• Conduct both primary and secondary research on markets, competitors, customers, and industry trends.
• Generate quantitative analyses and financial models to assess strategic opportunities, business performance, acquisitions, partnerships, and investments.
• Facilitate M&A, partnership, and investment activities through strategic evaluations, commercial due diligence, market analysis, valuation assistance, and synergy assessment.
• Propel strategic initiatives from conception to execution.
• Counsel executive leadership and aid in decision-making at the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors level.
• Over 10 years of professional experience.
• At least 3 years at a leading strategy consulting firm.
• Previous experience in investment banking, corporate finance, transaction advisory, valuation, corporate development, or a related financial field is preferred.
• Proven track record in leading complex strategic analyses and influencing executive-level decision-making.
• Experience in developing and assessing corporate, solution, and segment-level growth strategies.
• Strong strategic, financial, and analytical skills, including financial modeling, business case development, valuation, market analysis, and investment evaluation.
• Background in supporting M&A transactions, strategic partnerships, or capital allocation decisions.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder management, and project management capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• MBA is preferred.
• Must possess work authorization in the United States that does not currently or will not in the future require visa sponsorship.
