This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
β’ Develop Ashley's insights capability to support product, marketing, retail, and customer experience decisions.
β’ Create and oversee learning plans and tailored research initiatives.
β’ Convert vague business inquiries into clear research objectives, including survey tools, discussion frameworks, sampling strategies, analytical structures, and actionable presentations.
β’ Integrate research data, customer insights, business information, and supplier outputs into presentations ready for decision-making.
β’ Foster relationships across various functions and link insights across business divisions, channels, and stakeholder groups.
β’ Manage the insights repository and knowledge hub, encompassing searchable findings, source materials, reusable insights, and AI-driven synthesis workflows.
β’ Establish an intake and prioritization process for insights-related tasks.
β’ Supervise and mentor one direct report through coaching, prioritization, quality assessment, and alignment with stakeholders.
β’ Transform intricate research into commercially viable recommendations and compelling executive narratives.
β’ 8+ years of experience in consumer/customer insights, market research, UX research, strategy, product marketing, or customer experience; director-level experience is preferred.
β’ Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing custom research, including surveys, panels, concept testing, feedback initiatives, and both qualitative and quantitative approaches.
β’ Experience in synthesizing data from multiple sources into compelling insight narratives.
β’ Capability to link consumer, customer, retail, and marketplace signals to product strategy, merchandising, pricing, and growth objectives.
β’ Proficient in AI-driven research and knowledge management tools.
β’ Comfortable working with incomplete data and limited resources while adhering to research protocols.
β’ Proven ability to influence within a matrixed organization.
β’ Experience in people management.
β’ Willing and able to travel for company meetings in Tampa, FL.
β’ Must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States.
β’ Bachelor's degree preferred, but not mandatory.
β’ Preferred: background in furniture, home goods, appliances, or other high-consideration retail/ecommerce sectors.
β’ Preferred: ability to gather insights from store teams, customer service, reviews, marketplace content, and digital performance metrics.
β’ Preferred: experience in establishing an insights or knowledge management capability.
