This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of Engine’s group connectivity strategy and establish how group bookings are processed across various partners and platforms.
• Develop the strategy for enhanced group connectivity and formulate a prioritized roadmap throughout the group booking lifecycle.
• Direct supply and connectivity partnerships with hotel chains, connectivity providers, technology platforms, and intermediaries, from initial discussions to signed and activated agreements.
• Contribute to the larger connectivity strategy of Engine in collaboration with Supply and Lodging leadership.
• Cultivate relationships with connectivity providers and technology partners.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to refine group connectivity capabilities and integrations.
• Act as a subject-matter expert in group travel, connectivity models, and associated technologies.
• Assess group connectivity investments in relation to engineering capacity and commercial results.
• Represent Engine externally in complex partnerships involving multiple stakeholders.
• Keep abreast of industry trends related to group travel, meetings, distribution, and connectivity.
• Over 8 years of experience across product, connectivity, and partnerships in the travel, hospitality, travel technology, marketplaces, or platform sectors.
• Strong understanding of travel connectivity and the movement of bookings among partners, platforms, and systems.
• Capability to establish strategy and evaluate feasibility without direct ownership of the build process.
• Proven history of structuring and finalizing complex partnerships.
• Product insight and the ability to translate strategic visions into product and engineering requirements.
• Strategic acumen in positioning and sequencing trade-offs.
• Experience engaging with large, sophisticated partners at senior levels.
• Proficient in interacting with commercial and product leadership at strategic partnerships.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functionally through influence in complex, rapidly scaling organizations.
• Executive presence, effective communication, and sound decision-making capabilities in ambiguous situations.
