This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +5 more locations.
β’ Lead the global strategy and execution of IRCβs compensation, benefits, and global mobility initiatives.
β’ Ensure alignment of compensation, benefits, and global mobility philosophy and plans with IRCβs mission and business goals.
β’ Develop and sustain an understanding of IRCβs vision, mission, values, economic drivers, organizational structure, and culture.
β’ Oversee job benchmarking, evaluation, pay scale development, and administration.
β’ Manage compensation guidelines, including philosophy, pay-action eligibility, and limits.
β’ Facilitate annual salary planning reviews, documentation, and training sessions with country directors, executives, and the Finance team.
β’ Design and oversee benefits plans and ongoing administrative processes.
β’ Maintain IRCβs job architecture and ensure accurate employee mapping within Workday and other systems.
β’ Direct global mobility policies, practices, and processes throughout all locations.
β’ Lead, empower, and mentor a team of three direct reports.
β’ Advocate for the adoption, effective utilization, and change management of AI tools.
β’ Report directly to the Chief People and Culture Officer.
β’ Collaborate with global People & Culture, Finance, General Counsel, IT, senior management, executive leadership, vendors, consultants, legal counsel, and professional networks.
β’ A minimum of fifteen years of progressive experience in People & Culture-related roles.
β’ At least 10 years of experience in leading compensation, benefits, or global mobility teams in a global context.
β’ Familiarity with U.S. program design, regulatory requirements, market practices, and delivery.
β’ Proven track record of supporting senior management and fostering strong, trusted relationships.
β’ Preferred experience with international compensation, benefits, or global mobility within a nonprofit/NGO setting.
β’ Exposure to executive compensation committees is desirable.
β’ Experience with global HRIS systems, particularly Workday, is preferred.
β’ Knowledge of U.S. labor unions and global unions/works councils is advantageous.
β’ Strong management and leadership skills, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management capabilities.
β’ Ability to operate, manage, and meet deadlines in a dynamic, global environment.
β’ Exceptional skills in problem-solving and decision-making.
β’ Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
β’ Proven ability to collaborate across diverse countries, cultures, and departments.
