This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and oversee AlphaSense's multi-year compensation strategy and take charge of the global compensation philosophy.
• Manage the global compensation framework encompassing base salary, short-term incentives, and long-term incentives (equity).
• Oversee comprehensive compensation programs from start to finish, including Annual and Mid-Year compensation review processes.
• Collaborate with the VP of Total Rewards on the design, benchmarking, and administration of executive compensation.
• Prepare materials for the Compensation Committee in conjunction with external advisors and assist with proxy and governance readiness as AlphaSense prepares for its IPO.
• Provide guidance to People Business Partners, business leaders, and managers on scalable compensation strategies and intricate compensation issues.
• Perform quarterly and ad-hoc analyses for external competitiveness, internal equity, and compliance with legal/pay transparency requirements.
• Keep track of market trends and manage participation in compensation surveys, including Radford and Compa.
• Create training and communication resources to elucidate the compensation philosophy, programs, and tools.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on new hire offers and work with PBPs on internal mobility and promotion policies.
• Work with People Systems on the configuration of compensation cycles in Workday and coordinate with Payroll and Equity teams on payment and award data.
• Build, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing global Compensation team.
• Previous experience in a high-growth or newly public technology company.
• Proven track record managing the complete global compensation function, including the design, recommendation, implementation, and administration of compensation programs across base pay, short-term incentives, and equity.
• Experience leading a team.
• Familiarity with executive compensation, including experience with Compensation Committee rhythm and deliverables.
• Experience managing multiple compensation cycles within Workday.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize data from various sources to inform decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, and People Business Partners on significant, high-visibility decisions.
• Sound judgment in ambiguous situations, balancing risk, context, and business impact when making decisions, and knowing when to escalate issues.
