This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, development, implementation, and upkeep of Alumis’ commercial data environment.

• Create a unified source of truth for the commercial division.

• Manage the lifecycle of commercial data, encompassing acquisition, integration, quality, stewardship, governance, reporting, and enablement.

• Build a scalable commercial data ecosystem utilizing modern data, analytics, digital platforms, and AI capabilities.

• Collaborate with commercial leadership and IT to ensure data is accurate, accessible, and ready for decision-making.

• Direct and coordinate commercial data integration strategies, priorities, and solutions with IT, internal stakeholders, and external vendors.

• Guarantee the ingestion, validation/QC, and integration of both internal and external data sources.

• Establish and manage a cloud-based data management environment.

• Design and execute data governance frameworks, ownership and stewardship models, data quality standards, business rules, and definitions.

• Identify secondary data providers and facilitate data acquisitions.

• Define and spearhead the commercial data and MDM strategy across HCP, HCO, accounts, and affiliations.

• Ensure the existence of unified and trusted golden records across CRM, data warehouse, and downstream systems.

• Implement stewardship processes to uphold data integrity and consistency.

• Guide compliant CRM design for field teams.

• Monitor departmental performance against KPIs and collaborate with commercial leadership to implement enhancements.

• Support Training and Development with the creation and execution of systems training.

• Lead the responsible adoption and governance of AI, predictive analytics, machine learning, and generative AI.

• Direct advanced analytics projects that bolster brand strategy, launch planning, patient support, segmentation, targeting, omnichannel optimization, next-best-action, and customer engagement optimization.

• Establish best practices for prompt engineering, AI usage training, and AI governance.

• Ensure adherence to privacy, security, transparency, promotional, and healthcare regulations in collaboration with legal and IT.


⛳️ Requirements

• 10+ years of direct experience in commercial data strategy, data management, systems (Data Warehousing, CRM, MDM, BI, Omnichannel, AI), data governance, and sales operations within the biopharmaceutical sector.

• Previous launch experience in an emerging biotech is essential.

• Active participation in a commercial launch team with knowledge of cross-functional dependencies and processes.

• Extensive background in designing and implementing commercial data warehouses and governance frameworks, MDM solutions, and enterprise data ecosystems that integrate CRM and omnichannel data, along with BI system design and reporting platforms.

• Profound understanding of data architecture, schema design, and data lifecycle management.

• Strong experience in data governance, data quality, and data stewardship processes.

• Experience in facilitating analytics through well-structured, governed data and emerging AI capabilities.

• Comprehensive knowledge of third-party commercial data sources.

• Proven leadership skills, including the ability to influence cross-functional partners.

• Excellent presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts.

• Clear and impactful written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to independently tackle challenging problems through rigorous logical application.

• Ability to devise creative solutions when necessary.

• Aptitude for delivering value-added results that meet high-quality standards within tight deadlines.

• Proficient in managing third-party vendors efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Business Administration, or Life Sciences, or equivalent experience; a graduate degree is advantageous.
