This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Act as the business owner for EVERSANA’s commercial incentive compensation program.
• Oversee the management of the Commercial Commission Plan, which includes calculations, reviews, approvals, and payments.
• Take ownership of the CaptivateIQ incentive compensation platform, focusing on maintenance, testing, enhancements, and optimization.
• Collaborate with Commercial Leadership, Finance, Human Resources, Payroll, and Information Technology regarding commission administration and compensation governance.
• Address inquiries, discrepancies, and escalations related to commission issues.
• Confirm the accuracy of Salesforce opportunity records, financial data, and related commercial information utilized in commission calculations.
• Create and sustain dashboards, metrics, and management reporting for commission administration, forecasting, and Commercial Operations decision-making.
• Keep process documentation, operational controls, approval records, and materials prepared for audits up to date.
• Analyze compensation, sales, revenue, and performance data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Enhance commission administration through process redesign, automation, and technological improvements.
• Manage external vendors and technology partners that support incentive compensation and Commercial Operations systems.
• Provide guidance to senior leadership on compensation operations, risks, system requirements, and functional development.
• Oversee the performance and development of direct and indirect reports, as necessary.
• Support the strategy, governance, data stewardship, reporting, forecasting, and operational excellence of Commercial Operations.
• Conduct interviews, select, supervise, and evaluate department staff; communicate policies and administer personnel actions.
• Exhibit a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion while performing other assigned responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, data analytics, information systems, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be accepted.
• Proven experience in commission administration, incentive compensation, sales compensation, commercial operations, revenue operations, finance operations, or a related area.
• Strong grasp of sales, revenue, and financial processes, including the correlation between commercial activity, revenue recognition, and incentive compensation.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, investigate, and resolve complex operational and data-related challenges.
• Capacity to manage sensitive, high-visibility, and complex stakeholder situations with diplomacy and professionalism.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.
• Proficient in interpreting, reconciling, and validating data from various systems.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms, including reporting, data quality management, and process governance.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and strong overall system aptitude.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in developing reports, dashboards, metrics, or business insights.
• Preferred: familiarity with CaptivateIQ, Xactly, Varicent, Spiff, QuotaPath, or similar incentive compensation platforms.
• Preferred: experience in supporting commission plans within commercial, sales, revenue operations, or finance settings.
• Preferred: understanding of compensation plan design, commission structures, and incentive compensation governance.
• Preferred: background in pharmaceutical, life sciences, healthcare, consulting, CRO, or B2B commercialization services.
• Preferred: prior experience in people leadership or in developing a commission administration or compensation operations function.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week across 5 days.
• Capability to meet physical requirements, including prolonged sitting or standing and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
