This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more states.
• Act as a strategic thought leader for technology implementation and operations within Gartner’s Business CIO & AI Leaders group.
• Establish credibility as a Gartner authority on application modernization, AI integration in operations, and platform implementation.
• Facilitate global discussions regarding platforms and application modernization through Gartner and the media.
• Conduct research on global market trends, vendors, emerging technologies, and best practices.
• Engage in ideation and cohort discussions to develop positions on technical subjects impacting CIOs.
• Lead qualitative and quantitative studies to generate insights for C-level clients.
• Enhance research processes and create new methodologies that provide client value.
• Produce high-quality, actionable recommendations and evidence-based content for CIOs, AI leaders, and technology executives.
• Create presentations that elucidate the evolving landscape of technology and operations.
• Counsel CIOs and IT executives on technology priorities in light of shifting geopolitical uncertainties.
• Deliver presentations through webinars, executive briefings, industry conferences, and Gartner events.
• Mentor global leaders and represent Gartner Business and Technology Insights.
• Over 10 years of experience as an information technology executive.
• Experience with AI in P&C insurance or government is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent mix of education and experience is required.
• Strong technical background derived from IT department engineering roles, including platform engineering for AI, systems engineering, information security engineering, cloud engineering, or solutions architecture.
• Experience in preparing organizations for AI readiness by modernizing data architecture and cloud computing capabilities for responsible, sustainable AI solutions.
• A mindset of intellectual curiosity and commitment to continuous learning.
• Executive presence with the ability to gain credibility with executives and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to perform under tight deadlines.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Capability to convey complex concepts in a concise and simple manner.
• Proficient in analyzing and synthesizing data, applying patterns and frameworks to support conclusions.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams in a multicultural global environment.
