This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with leadership to assess the strengths and value proposition of the organization’s PMO, and formulate sustainable, profitable growth strategies.
• Identify, cultivate, and secure new business opportunities for the PMO, overseeing business development initiatives from start to finish.
• Lead the marketing efforts of a complex PMO capabilities portfolio, acting as the primary interface for clients.
• Develop business cases that explore market options and opportunities.
• Direct proposal efforts which include cost estimation, competitive analysis, and prioritization of profitable initiatives for future revenue growth.
• Analyze market trends and developments within the High-Tech, Infrastructure, and Utility sectors to spot new opportunities.
• Maintain strong relationships with key clients and business partners.
• Participate in networking events and conferences to research and connect with potential clients.
• Work closely with PMO leadership to comprehend client needs and delivery models.
• Take part in client debriefings and share insights to enhance performance.
• Promote and sustain an entrepreneurial growth culture throughout the business unit and organization.
• Develop repeatable strategies to scale development efforts over time.
• Undertake additional related responsibilities as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, information technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5+ years of progressive business development, sales, or consulting experience within Technology, Infrastructure, Utilities, or similar industries.
• At least 5+ years of experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in a high-growth environment.
• Strong understanding of PMO services, including project, program, and portfolio management.
• Proficiency with PMO software/tools.
• Excellent skills in communication, negotiation, and presentation.
• Proven success in meeting business development targets and entering new markets.
• Established capability to draft successful RFI/SS/RFQ/RFP proposals.
• Detail-oriented, adaptable, enthusiastic, and a team player with a strong customer service focus.
• Competence in all MS Office™ products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, and Office 365.
• Familiarity with project delivery models and the lifecycle of large-scale projects.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and achieve results.
• Capacity to influence senior stakeholders and achieve alignment without direct authority.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strict time constraints and deadlines.
• Demonstrated success working effectively in a fully remote environment, managing teams and projects across geographically diverse locations.
• Willingness to accommodate East Coast and West Coast business hours as necessary.
• Willingness to travel extensively: 75% to 100% travel week-to-week across the United States.
