This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Collaborate with leadership to gain insights into the organization's PMO strengths and value proposition, while formulating sustainable and profitable growth strategies.
• Identify, cultivate, and secure new PMO business opportunities, spearheading business development initiatives from inception to completion.
• Act as the primary client interface, promoting a comprehensive portfolio of PMO capabilities.
• Develop business cases that analyze market options and potential opportunities.
• Lead proposal efforts, encompassing cost estimation, competition analysis, and prioritizing profitable initiatives to enhance future revenue.
• Examine market trends and industry advancements to pinpoint opportunities within the High-Tech, Infrastructure, and Utility sectors.
• Maintain robust relationships with key clients and business partners.
• Participate in networking events and conferences to research and connect with potential clients.
• Collaborate closely with PMO leadership to comprehend client requirements and service delivery models.
• Engage in client debriefings and share lessons learned to enhance performance.
• Promote and sustain an entrepreneurial growth culture throughout the organization.
• Develop repeatable strategies to scale development efforts effectively.
• Travel 75% to 100% weekly across the United States.
• Perform additional related responsibilities as necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, information technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or consulting within Technology, Infrastructure, Utilities, or similar industries.
• Over 5 years of experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in a high-growth setting.
• Strong understanding of PMO services, including project, program, and portfolio management.
• Experience with PMO software and tools.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proven success in meeting business development targets and expanding into new markets.
• Established capacity to write compelling RFI/SS/RFQ/RFP proposals.
• Detail-oriented, adaptable, enthusiastic, and a team player with a strong emphasis on customer service.
• Proficiency in all MS Office™ applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, and Office 365.
• Familiarity with project delivery models and the lifecycle of large-scale projects.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and achieve results.
• Capability to influence senior stakeholders and drive consensus without direct authority.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment under strict time constraints and deadlines.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in a fully remote working environment, managing teams and projects across diverse geographical locations.
• Availability to support East Coast and West Coast business hours as required.
• Professional certifications such as PMP are advantageous but not mandatory.
• Previous experience in an engineering consulting setting is preferred.
• Established network within Data Centers or Technology organizations is a plus.
• Candidates may be subject to background checks, drug testing, and/or fit-for-duty physical examinations after accepting an offer.
• Must be capable of sitting or standing for up to 8 hours per day.
