This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Collaborate with leadership to grasp the PMO's strengths and value proposition, developing strategies that drive sustainable and profitable growth.
• Identify, cultivate, and secure new PMO business opportunities, overseeing business development initiatives from start to finish.
• Spearhead the marketing of a sophisticated PMO capabilities portfolio, serving as the primary point of contact for clients.
• Develop business cases focused on market options and opportunities while leading proposal efforts, which include cost estimation, competition analysis, and prioritizing profitable initiatives to enhance future revenue.
• Examine market trends and industry developments to uncover new opportunities and sustain a competitive advantage in the High-Tech, Infrastructure, and Utility sectors.
• Maintain robust client relationships with key stakeholders and business partners.
• Participate in networking events and conferences to research and engage with potential clients.
• Collaborate closely with the PMO leadership team to comprehend client requirements and service delivery models.
• Engage in client debriefings and share lessons learned to enhance performance.
• Promote and uphold an entrepreneurial growth culture throughout the business unit and the organization.
• Develop repeatable strategies to scale development efforts over time.
• Travel extensively, ranging from 75% to 100% weekly across the United States.
• Execute other related responsibilities as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, information technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or consulting within Technology, Infrastructure, Utilities, or related sectors.
• Over 5 years of experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in a high-growth setting.
• Strong understanding of PMO services, including project, program, and portfolio management.
• Proficient in PMO software/tools.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Documented success in meeting business development goals and expanding into new markets.
• Established capability to write compelling RFI/SS/RFQ/RFP proposals.
• Detail-oriented, adaptable, enthusiastic, and a team player with a strong focus on customer service.
• Proficient in all MS Office™ applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, and Office 365.
• Familiar with project delivery models and the lifecycle of large-scale projects.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and achieve results.
• Capacity to influence senior stakeholders and foster alignment without direct authority.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment under strict timelines and deadlines.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in a fully remote setting, managing teams and projects across geographically separated locations.
• Ability to accommodate East Coast and West Coast business hours as necessary.
• Preferred: Proven experience in financial management, encompassing PO, invoicing, costing, and budget oversight.
• Preferred: Professional certifications such as PMP.
• Preferred: Previous experience in an engineering consulting environment.
• Preferred: Established network within Data Centers or Technology organizations.
