This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Collaborate with leadership to gain insights into the organization’s PMO strengths and value proposition, while formulating sustainable and profitable growth strategies.
• Identify, cultivate, and secure new PMO business opportunities, managing business development initiatives from start to finish.
• Act as the primary client liaison to promote a comprehensive portfolio of PMO capabilities.
• Develop business cases regarding market options and opportunities.
• Lead proposal efforts, encompassing cost estimation, competition analysis, and prioritization of profitable initiatives.
• Examine market trends and industry shifts for opportunities within the High-Tech, Infrastructure, and Utility sectors.
• Maintain robust client relationships with key clients and business partners.
• Participate in networking events and conferences to research and connect with potential clients.
• Collaborate with PMO leadership to comprehend client needs and service delivery models.
• Engage in client debriefings and disseminate lessons learned to enhance performance.
• Promote an entrepreneurial growth culture throughout the business unit and the organization.
• Develop repeatable strategies to scale development efforts effectively.
• Execute other related responsibilities as necessary.
• Be prepared for extensive travel, ranging from 75% to 100% across the United States.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, information technology, or a related field.
• At least 5+ years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or consulting within Technology, Infrastructure, Utilities, or similar sectors.
• Minimum of 5+ years experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in a high-growth environment.
• Strong understanding of PMO services, including project, program, and portfolio management.
• Familiarity with PMO software and tools.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Proven success in meeting business development targets and entering new markets.
• Established expertise in crafting successful RFI/SS/RFQ/RFP proposals.
• Detail-oriented, adaptable, enthusiastic, and a team player with a focus on customer service.
• Proficient in all MS Office™ applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, and Office 365.
• Knowledgeable about project delivery models and the lifecycle of large-scale projects.
• Self-motivated with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and achieve results.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and foster alignment without direct authority.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with stringent time constraints and deadlines.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fully remote setup, managing teams and projects across geographically dispersed locations.
• Willingness to support East Coast and West Coast business hours as necessary.
• Availability for travel, ranging from 75% to 100% weekly across the United States.
