This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Drive revenue growth within the labels business unit.
• Inspire and lead BDM and sales teams that support the expanding labels business.
• Collaborate with the national sales organization to enhance existing client relationships and discover new clients.
• Work together with finance, estimating, operations, procurement, and sales teams.
• Expand the labels sales pipeline by implementing cross-selling and new business initiatives.
• Partner with both internal and external marketing resources to advocate for RRD’s labels offerings.
• Utilize the CRM tool to oversee labels opportunities and pinpoint current clients with potential labels solution requirements.
• Formulate strategies to identify and engage with new prospects through lead generation efforts.
• Take ownership of business unit sales reporting data and prepare reports for senior management.
• Equip BDM and sales teams to effectively navigate through labels opportunities, including selling, closure, and implementation.
• Remain updated on new products, technical advice, and resource allocation necessary to secure business.
• Meet new business growth objectives as measured by revenue, pipeline, and newly acquired labels accounts.
• Over 10 years of consultative B2B sales experience in the labels industry or a related field.
• Proven leadership in managing people and teams within a matrix organizational structure.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
• Experience in analyzing trends, pricing strategies, and competitive programs.
• Capability to suggest design modifications and process enhancements.
• Knowledge of labels specifications and materials.
• Ability to communicate fluently at all organizational levels, from junior staff to C-level executives.
• Proficient in applying market insights concerning competition, market share, and opportunities.
• Effective communication skills via email, phone, and in-person interactions.
• Experience in the label industry, particularly with RFID and Lineless Labels, or relevant print knowledge is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google applications is essential.
• Willingness to travel 30-40% of the time.
• Ability to work on-site at customer, office, manufacturing, or plant locations.
