This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Drive revenue growth within the labels business unit.
• Inspire and lead the BDM and sales teams dedicated to the labels sector.
• Collaborate with the national sales organization to expand existing client relationships and seek out new clients.
• Create actionable sales strategies informed by market possibilities, client behavior, platform capabilities, and market needs.
• Oversee sales teams to optimize capacity and profitability.
• Enhance the labels sales pipeline through cross-selling and new business initiatives.
• Work in partnership with finance, estimating, operations, procurement, sales, and marketing teams.
• Utilize the CRM tool to track labels opportunities and pinpoint current clients with potential needs for labels solutions.
• Formulate strategies for lead generation and outreach to new prospects.
• Manage business-unit sales reporting data and generate reports for senior management.
• Equip BDM and sales teams to effectively navigate labels opportunities through selling, closing, and implementation.
• Stay updated on new products, technical guidance, and resource allocation necessary to succeed in the marketplace.
• Meet new business growth objectives based on revenue, pipeline, and new labels accounts secured during the fiscal year.
• Over 10 years of consultative B2B sales experience in the labels sector or a related field.
• Proven ability to lead teams and individuals within a matrixed organizational structure.
• Strong business and financial insight.
• Experience in analyzing market trends, pricing strategies, and competitive initiatives.
• Capability to suggest design modifications and process enhancements.
• Knowledge of labels specifications and materials.
• Proficient in engaging with individuals at all levels within an organization, from junior staff to C-suite executives.
• Ability to leverage market insights regarding competition, market share, and opportunities.
• Strong communication skills across email, phone, and in-person interactions.
• Familiarity with the label industry, particularly in RFID and Linerless Labels, or relevant print experience is advantageous.
• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google applications is essential.
• Willingness to travel 30–40% of the time.
• Ability to work on-site at customer locations, offices, manufacturing, or plant sites.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Adherence to RRD's request to avoid using AI tools during interviews.
