This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Lead the enterprise Business Continuity Management efforts, coordination, and program development across all EMCOR Operations.
• Collaborate with operating company, segment, functional, and executive leadership to create, maintain, and assess contingency and recovery plans.
• Direct the Business Continuity Steering Committee.
• Drive the ongoing enhancement of EMCOR’s BCM plan and strategy.
• Oversee the Business Continuity Management Cycle: Analysis, Planning, Approval and Implementation, Maintenance, Exercise and Testing.
• Manage the relationship with the BCM platform/vendor.
• Integrate newly acquired companies and operations into the BCM Program.
• Develop and sustain Business Continuity policies, procedures, guides, and educational resources.
• Collaborate with IT teams to create, maintain, and test IT disaster recovery plans for both on-premises and hosted services.
• Develop and facilitate testing, risk assessments, business impact assessments, and continuity exercises.
• Review exercise results and implement continuous improvements.
• Share best practices, lessons learned, and improvement strategies.
• Lead the transition from Assurance Riskonnect to ServiceNow’s Business Continuity Management system.
• Establish training programs for participants in the program.
• Collect, analyze, and report on program status and metrics.
• B.A. / B.S. degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Familiarity with BCM technology platforms (ServiceNow BCM preferred).
• Experience in migrating from Assurance Riskonnect to ServiceNow is an advantage.
• Exceptional interpersonal, management, communication, writing, and organizational skills.
• Experience in interacting and communicating with executives and senior management in complex organizations.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, manage tight deadlines, and perform in high-stakes situations.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in Business Continuity and IT Disaster Recovery.
• At least 7 years of project/program management experience in medium to large geographically diverse organizations.
• Business Continuity certifications are a plus (CBCI/MBCP).
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Comprehensive understanding of business processes.
• Capability to work in a general office, field construction, or industrial setting.
