This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Develop and oversee a long-term strategy for health and welfare initiatives in the Americas.
• Manage a range of benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, life, disability, voluntary benefits, wellbeing, time off policies, EAP, and targeted wellbeing solutions.
• Create business cases utilizing benchmarking, ROI analysis, and risk assessment.
• Balance the associate experience with cost efficiency and sustainable practices.
• Enhance U.S. absence management programs, covering FTO, PTO, vacations, and paid sick leave.
• Direct benefits integration during acquisitions, carveouts, and divestitures.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Inclusion & Belonging, Talent Acquisition, People Analytics, Internal Communications, and HR leaders.
• Mentor and support global benefit partners.
• Act as a subject-matter expert and a point of escalation for complex issues.
• Track cost and utilization trends with the help of market benchmarks and engagement data.
• Manage the U.S. Benefits Data Warehouse and offer actionable insights.
• Conduct feasibility studies and analytic projects.
• Establish success metrics ensuring programs are competitive, compliant, and user-friendly.
• Supervise vendor performance, service delivery, and adherence to contracts.
• Lead vendor assessments, renewals, and negotiations.
• Generate associate insights through surveys, storytelling, and advanced analytics tools.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in benefits strategy and implementation.
• Extensive knowledge of U.S. Health & Welfare programs.
• Proven experience managing benefits at a large-market level.
• Background in collaborating with multiple vendors and large employee groups.
• Consulting experience is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience in benefit-related M&A and familiarity with global benefits, especially in Canada and LATAM.
• Knowledge of disability and absence management programs.
