This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +45 more states.
• Act as the lead for capturing Airborne Law Enforcement follow-on and new business opportunities.
• Achieve financial performance goals for the L3Harris WESCAM MX series precision optical sensors and targeting systems division.
• Market company products, systems, and/or services while managing opportunities through all stages of the sales pipeline.
• Provide market intelligence and create business cases to enhance market penetration.
• Implement capture strategies to retain incumbency on current programs and secure new business opportunities.
• Conduct sales presentations and marketing initiatives, including participation in tradeshows, conferences, and product demos.
• Oversee field activities to achieve annual sales objectives and support company growth initiatives.
• Generate and expand the sales-opportunity pipeline.
• Gather customer requirements to influence WESCAM design solutions and promote MX-Series products and service plans.
• Advocate for existing product capabilities and suggest profitable product enhancements or developments.
• Formulate strategies for key pursuits concentrating on the growth of Electro-Optical Infrared sensors.
• Discover new or adjacent business opportunities with customers.
• Collaborate with Program Managers and In Service Account Managers to bolster the execution of existing business and follow-on opportunities.
• Address customer Requests for Quotations promptly.
• Work towards resolving customer issues and concerns effectively.
• Exhibit ethical and professional conduct in alignment with company values.
• At least 15 years of experience in ALE or a comparable market area, airworthiness qualification and procurement, or within an optical, mechanical, and/or electrical setting.
• Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or federal agencies utilizing EOIR systems is preferred.
• A bachelor's degree along with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with at least 12 years of related experience.
• Over 15 years of experience in developing and implementing strategies while managing budgetary and capability requirements in a competitive USG and/or State environment.
• Must be a United States citizen.
• Security clearance is preferred.
• Experience in Business Development and/or Sales Account Management within the last 5 years is preferred.
• Must be able to travel domestically; expected travel is 50% annually.
