Director, Agrifinance Mortgage Loan Production

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Identify and source investment opportunities through current borrowers and pertinent agricultural channels.

• Manage the entire transaction process from loan application to final closing.

• Execute new loan origination, field servicing, underwriting, and structuring of agricultural real estate mortgage loan transactions.

• Keep leadership updated on matters related to the designated geographic area.

• Provide comprehensive progress updates to leadership.

• Handle delinquent accounts as necessary.

• May oversee Assistant Directors, Analysts, and Interns, including their development, mentoring, and goal setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent education and experience.

• Seven years of experience in Agricultural lending or Agricultural business.

• Familiarity with real estate markets and commodities produced within the assigned territory.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

• Proficient in using MS Excel and Word.

• Capability to learn financial statement spreading tools, mapping tools, valuation packages, and other software.

• Advanced degree in a relevant discipline (preferred).

• Experience in Agricultural lending for Farm Credit, a bank, or an insurance company (preferred).

• Appraisal experience (preferred).
