Direct Specialist – Vehicle Appraisal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Conduct vehicle appraisals remotely by adhering to established company guidelines, utilizing approved data sources, and employing specialized appraisal applications.

• Assess and analyze vehicle details, condition reports, images, history reports, and relevant documentation to ascertain appraisal values.

• Leverage both internal and external data sources, market insights, and comparable listings to inform valuation decisions.

• Oversee a daily appraisal queue while meeting required service-level expectations.

• Recognize risk factors, inconsistencies, or absent information and escalate issues as necessary.

• Ensure that appraisal records and all supporting documentation are thorough and accurately entered into the appropriate systems.

• Convey appraisal findings, inquiries, exceptions, and concerns to CAAD Buyers, Pricing Specialists, and other internal stakeholders.

• Uphold consistency with appraisal standards.

• Engage in Microsoft Teams meetings and participate in collaboration or calibration sessions.

• Address appraisal-related escalations following established protocols and approval processes.

• Stay informed about vehicle values, market trends, appraisal best practices, laws, and regulations.

• Represent the company in a professional manner while adhering to company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

• Must fulfill the company's employment criteria.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a dealership role.

• Capability to read and understand instructions and information effectively.

• Outstanding communication skills, including customer service and care.

• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.

• Maintain a professional personal appearance.

• Strong customer service abilities.

• Access to a quiet, secure workspace with dependable internet connectivity.

• Ability to engage in prolonged periods of computer usage and data entry.
