This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Ensure that knowledge is accessible to all students.

• Enhance students’ cognitive abilities and foster a respect for learning.

• Execute Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) effectively.

• Promote students’ self-esteem, motivation, civic responsibility, and leadership skills.

• Create teaching materials and instructional strategies.

• Strategize the involvement of instructional assistants and parental volunteers in classroom management.

• Adhere to school policies in all actions.

• Maintain communication with parents regarding students’ academic performance and behavioral issues.

• Provide instruction across diverse subjects including foreign languages, ESL, math, science, social studies, technology, and health.

• Identify instructional techniques, strategies, methods, and modify curricula to accommodate student needs.

• Design activities, resources, lesson plans, and substitute teaching plans that align with learning objectives and school guidelines.

• Develop, analyze, modify, and implement ILPs based on assessments of students.

• Assess and evaluate student performance, behavior, progress, and understanding.

• Uphold the confidentiality of protected student and staff information.

• Contribute to professional development and curriculum planning.

• Collaborate effectively to support the goals of the school program.

• Foster a classroom environment that is conducive to learning.

• Adhere to regular and predictable attendance requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a Post-Bachelor’s in Education from an accredited institution, or meeting Highly Qualified requirements as defined by the Arizona Department of Education.

• A valid State Teaching Certificate from any state; Arizona preferred.

• Suitable endorsements may be necessary based on the area of instruction, or successful completion of the appropriate AEPA or NES proficiency exams.

• A satisfactory criminal background check with a current Active Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

• Professional verification of successful performance as a classroom teacher and/or experience in student teaching.

• Any equivalent combination of experience, training, and/or education that demonstrates comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered.

• Capability to utilize instructional adaptive technology tools in online courses.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

• Competence with technology, computers, and the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Established written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational and planning capabilities.

• Ability to report to work on a consistent and timely basis.

• Physical capability to stand, walk, sit, talk, hear, and use hands, arms, and fingers for data input and handling; may require occasional pushing or lifting of up to 15 lbs.
