Digital Transformation and Delivery Lead – Environmental Remediation Sector

📋 Description

• AECOM is in search of a qualified individual to spearhead the digital delivery for the remediation sector in the US West, overseeing the entire process from establishing direction to execution.

• The role involves examining the business to identify opportunities where enhancing our use of digital technology can create significant impact.

• It outlines necessary actions, resources required, timelines, and the benefits to be gained, subsequently leading the implementation.

• The ideal candidate will engage in hands-on solution development as needed while guiding delivery through others where the necessary skills are present.

• They will facilitate resource coordination from various departments to support initiatives, functioning as a delivery lead without direct line-management authority.

• The focus is on delivery first, with strategy and transformation guiding its direction.

• This position operates within the framework of corporate technology direction and standards while advocating for new technological advancements, including emerging capabilities like AI, when justified.

⛳️ Requirements

• A BA/BS degree and 8 years of experience, or a proven equivalent in experience and education, in digital delivery, digital transformation, or a related discipline.

• More than 10 years of experience in digital strategy or transformation along with practical digital delivery experience.

• A demonstrated capacity to perform solution work directly and lead delivery efforts through others, adjusting involvement based on necessity.

• Practical experience in configuring and managing Smartsheet, including Advanced Work Management (AWM).

• Experience in configuring solutions within the Microsoft 365 and Power Platform ecosystem, such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint.

• Familiarity with the primary platforms utilized in the environmental business, including EQuIS, as well as Smartsheet and the Microsoft suite.

• A proven ability to establish a digital roadmap and prioritize initiatives based on value, urgency, complexity, and capacity.

• Experience in developing business cases and monitoring realized benefits and value over time.

• Strong capability to navigate ambiguity, transforming vaguely defined requirements into clear directives and tangible solutions.

• Proven track record of coordinating and directing matrixed resources in a delivery-lead role, effectively bridging business and technical teams.

• Awareness of emerging technologies like AI and a pragmatic understanding of their value within a regulated environment.

• Experience in environmental remediation activities, consulting, or management.
