Digital Solutions Enterprise Architect – Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Define the technical vision, strategy, and roadmap for significant projects that align with enterprise objectives and architectural standards.

• Lead the design and architecture of scalable, secure, and resilient solutions utilizing Cloud, Microservices, Integration Platforms, automation, Data/AI, and associated technologies.

• Assess and select technologies to meet business requirements; serve as the architecture subject matter expert and decision-maker.

• Establish and enforce architecture governance, design patterns, and development standards.

• Own and document architecture decision records (ADRs).

• Lead and manage large project teams, providing technical direction, motivation, and mentorship.

• Oversee technical implementation and delivery, ensuring compliance with architecture and timely achievement of milestones.

• Establish review processes and standards focusing on performance, security, and maintainability.

• Resolve technical escalations while offering hands-on assistance and strategic advice.

• Proactively manage technical debt, balancing delivery speed with maintainability.

• Promote engineering excellence through code reviews, pair programming, and internal tech discussions.

• Advocate for CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies.

• Define SLAs, SLOs, and observability benchmarks for logging, monitoring, and alerting.

• Translate business objectives and digital service requirements into actionable technical specifications.

• Guide the design of digital services that improve end-user experiences and delivery results.

• Define strategies for implementation and deployment.

• Identify and alleviate technical risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks throughout the delivery process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of extensive experience in software development and solution architecture.

• Proficiency in both Arabic and English.

• Experience in designing architectures with modern software technologies.

• Knowledge of networking and systems relevant to software deployment and architecture design.

• Proven history of successfully leading and managing large technical projects.

• Ability to connect business strategy with technical implementation and operational delivery across various projects.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Practical experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP); certification is preferable.

• Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalents.

• Experience with agile/SAFe delivery at scale.

• Experience in government or enterprise systems integration projects is an advantage.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related field.

• Relevant professional certifications are highly desirable.

• Candidates must be available to work in accordance with UAE business hours.

• Proficiency in Arabic and English at C1 and C2 levels.
