Digital Project Manager – CONTRACT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to define project scopes and objectives.

• Create and oversee project schedules, sprints, and work plans.

• Manage any changes to scope, schedule, and budget, escalating issues as necessary.

• Maintain the daily client relationship by providing status updates and setting expectations.

• Proactively identify and mitigate risks that could impact deadlines.

• Keep thorough project documentation throughout the lifecycle.

• Monitor progress across sprints and epics, contributing to estimations and retrospectives.

• Establish and conduct performance reporting.

• Implement Section 508 and WCAG accessibility standards within the project lifecycle.

• Lead meetings focused on problem resolution.

• Oversee project delivery from initiation through to launch and beyond.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in a technical, web, or software setting.

• Proficient in Asana and experienced with Agile/Scrum methodologies, including sprints, backlogs, and retrospectives.

• Solid understanding of web technologies and the software development lifecycle.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interactions.

• Strong ability to take initiative and manage multiple projects and priorities without losing track of details.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required.

• Capable of collaborating effectively within a team environment.

• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Ability to satisfy other requirements for government contracts.

• Work authorization must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• May need to undergo a government background check or security clearance based on the contract.

• Bonus: Experience with government, public-sector, or highly regulated clients; familiarity with WCAG/Section 508; PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification; experience with WordPress or enterprise/government CMS.
