This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Take ownership of and communicate the product strategy, vision, and roadmap for a specific Infrastructure as Code and Engineering as Code product area.
β’ Convert customer and engineering challenges into prioritized capabilities, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
β’ Write, test, and approve stories throughout various Agile release cycles.
β’ Lead discovery initiatives and test-and-learn activities involving infrastructure engineers, platform teams, operations, architects, security partners, and internal customers.
β’ Prioritize capabilities that are reusable, tested, and supported to minimize manual hand-offs and inconsistencies in infrastructure creation, change, security, operations, and recovery.
β’ Collaborate with engineering to evaluate and sequence solutions utilizing Terraform or OpenTofu, Ansible, source control, automated testing, delivery pipelines, configuration management, and reusable infrastructure components.
β’ Define and track product performance metrics, including adoption rates, component reuse, delivery lead time, manual interventions, compliance with policies or controls, reliability, and recovery outcomes.
β’ Leverage customer insights, analytics, technical constraints, and enterprise value to transparently make product trade-offs and steer incremental releases.
β’ Promote adoption through effective onboarding, documentation, demonstrations, feedback loops, and continuous product improvement.
β’ Influence stakeholders in product, engineering, and platform teams across geographically dispersed locations.
β’ Mentor less-experienced colleagues in product management.
β’ Enhance infrastructure delivery by minimizing manual hand-offs, increasing the reuse of sanctioned components, applying controls consistently, simplifying customer experiences, and bolstering recovery capabilities.
β’ At least 5 years of experience in digital product management, including independent ownership and execution of product strategies and roadmaps across multiple release cycles.
β’ Minimum 2 years of experience in coaching or mentoring product management colleagues and providing expertise across a broader technology organization.
β’ Proven product experience in infrastructure, cloud, compute, platform engineering, or Platform as a Service.
β’ Demonstrated knowledge of infrastructure automation and engineering practices, evidenced by product deliveries involving Terraform or OpenTofu, Ansible, source control, automated testing, CI/CD or delivery pipelines, configuration management, or reusable infrastructure components.
β’ Proven track record of delivery across several Agile release cycles, with hands-on experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, or a similar tool for managing backlogs, prioritization, dependencies, and delivery tracking.
β’ Evidence of defining user stories and acceptance criteria, guiding technical trade-offs, and collaborating with infrastructure, platform, operations, architecture, or security teams.
β’ Proven ability to use product metrics and analytics to prioritize and enhance products, including tracking adoption, reuse, lead time, automation, reliability, control compliance, or customer experience outcomes.
β’ Experience managing an Infrastructure as Code, Engineering as Code, developer platform, or internal platform product in a large enterprise setting.
β’ Experience enhancing developer or infrastructure customer journeys through self-service workflows, reusable modules, policy-as-code, automated controls, or platform APIs.
β’ Familiarity with cloud platforms and infrastructure lifecycle practices, including resilience, disaster recovery, observability, security, or compliance requirements.
β’ Experience in the insurance or financial services industry, or delivering enterprise-scale software and platform solutions in a regulated environment.
β’ Must be willing to undergo a background investigation.
