This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Serve as the primary day-to-day liaison with the client's ecommerce and marketing teams regarding merchandising inquiries and requests.
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal resources to create and deliver on-site content.
• Manage and refresh product listings, categories, and site navigation on the client's ecommerce photo platform.
• Enhance product imagery, descriptions, and pricing to ensure accuracy and brand alignment.
• Formulate merchandising strategies for the homepage, category pages, and search results to align with seasonal campaigns, promotions, and stock priorities.
• Conduct site quality checks and address broken links, missing content, or display issues.
• Assist in the planning and execution of promotional and seasonal campaigns.
• Track site performance, conversion rates, and identify best/worst sellers, providing insights to the broader team.
• Aid in A/B testing of layout, imagery, and content.
• Generate regular reports on site performance, merchandising activities, and campaign results.
• Keep an eye on competitor activities and industry trends, suggesting merchandising enhancements.
• Contribute to the development of merchandising processes, standards, and documentation.
• Offer expertise to development teams to refine new site concepts and features.
• Proven experience in an ecommerce, digital merchandising, or online trading role (in retail, print, photo products, or a similar consumer sector).
• Experience in presenting and executing a site or category vision tailored to a specific target audience.
• Strong ability to analyze data and implement actionable insights.
• Familiarity with ecommerce or content management platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, or custom/proprietary systems).
• Exceptional attention to detail, especially regarding product content, imagery, and pricing accuracy.
• Confident communicator, comfortable engaging directly with client stakeholders.
• Highly organized, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced trading environment.
• Basic image editing skills (e.g., Photoshop or similar) are a plus.
• Experience in an outsourced, agency, or client-services environment is advantageous.
• Understanding of SEO principles and their application to product content is desirable.
• Experience in photo products, print-on-demand, or personalized retail ecommerce is preferred.
